Allen Stone Bronx Concert reviews
Mind-numbingly Beautiful - Life changing
I'm not sure what was more amazing...running into Allen Stone outside of the venue 30 minutes before he was supposed to be on stage and watching him hold the door for everyone, getting to talk to him and hug him after the show, watching an audience of 1,100 people put their phones away as he reminded everyone how sad it is that we care more about technology and "contact highs" than we do about relationships with people, watching him split that same crowd of 1,100 in two and having them compete in a dance-off, or the moment I realized that this raw, soulful, and incredibly gracious guy is truly going to be one of the most talented, well-rounded and most genuine musicians our generation ever sees, and he is too humble or modest to ever know it. The world doesn't just need more musicians like Allen Stone, it needs more people like him. Hands down it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
